Black and Green

I wanted to emphasise this contrast between the two environments further and so decided to do so through colour. Having previously researched colour and Kandinsky, I wanted to use this information to make an educated association; Because green is representative of things natural and organic, I thought green would be the best colour  in which to portray nature, whereas I would use black to represent industrialisation, as it represents things dramatic and bold, which are two adjectives one could definitely use to describe a bustling city.

Another reason for this choice of colouring is evident from the previous photos. The countryside is full of luscious plants and rolling fields. It is a picture of green.
Saying that, the city photos have many dull colours ranging from grey to black in the form of pavements and bars. It has an imprisioned feel, the oppsoite of the open country fields.

                                          Nature: Green                          Urban: Black
